The story of ‘Kaan’ – where ‘Kaa’ stands for law and ‘N’ stands for justice – is what this name signifies. When Manoj Comics first presented Kaan to the audience, their aim was to establish a connection with the viewers. Perhaps that’s why they crafted Kaan’s story without relying on fantasy.

The tale of Kaan revolves around a beauty pageant where a contestant, Chitra, is murdered. The murderer collides with Kaan while fleeing, and as a form of punishment, Kaan cuts off his ear. That’s when we learn about Kaan’s story, as Kaan himself reveals that his real name is Akash. Akash, since childhood, possessed sharp intellect and a serious demeanor. His father, Balvant Thakkar, held a high position at the Indian Research Center. Balvant Thakkar witnessed Akash’s intelligence and bravery when enemies threatened them with the intention of stealing the laser gun code. Akash not only defeated them with his sharp mind but also saved his family, earning him a bravery award. Witnessing this, his father enrolled him in a martial arts school and provided him with various combat training.

The story of Kaan, alias Akash, unfolds in every comic along with other events. Kaan’s comics are a creation that combines characters from Raj Comics, namely Doga and Dhruv, but with a slight balance. In the story, Kaan isn’t hastily shown fighting against crime but has been combating it since childhood, defeating criminals with his sharp intellect. There were no fantasies or aliens in the story; instead, it depicted societal issues like kidnapping, robbery, theft of human organs, or human trafficking. The author of Kaan, Tarun Kumar Wahi, wrote the story, while Nares Kumar illustrated it. The artwork in Kaan’s comics is quite impressive, paying attention to the details of the characters. However, there is limited information about Kaan’s comics, and it’s not clear why it was discontinued. Perhaps it got lost in the whirlwind of the comic industry, and this character might have faded away.

The story of Yugaandhar is about a man who was killed by demons, and it was he who, for his own selfish motives, gave the gift of life. The demons attempted to ride him on their magical chariot because as soon as someone climbed onto it, their mind would undergo a transformation. However, the demons and monsters did not know that this was all a ploy to eliminate them.

Yugaandhar’s story dates back thousands of years when on this Earth, demons, monsters, and humans existed in three different segments. In one segment, there was the reign of the brutal Rakshasa king, while in another, the demon king Durdant ruled. In the third segment, there was the rule of humans, with several kingdoms, each having its own king. The demons and monsters were bitter enemies, and their enmity fueled the teachings of their respective gurus. The guru of the demons was Ektaang, and the guru of the monsters was Ekhaath. Perhaps the ambitions of these gurus led to the creation of Yugaandhar. When, following the orders of their respective gurus, Hinsak and Durdant set out to meditate, both gurus arranged for them to marry a sister and brother from the other community. However, in front of the gurus, Hinsak and Durdant beheaded each other, driven by anger, pledging to destroy both.

The great guru Yugaantpuri went to Yugaandhar and, looking at the lines on his forehead, understood that he had only four days left to live. It was then that he explained his plan to Yugaandhar. In reality, the demon guru had asked for a severed head of a human for the Rakshasas to defeat the monsters. According to the great guru’s plan, Yugaandhar allowed Durdant to cut off his own head, and Ekhaath, using mantras, attached that head to Durdant’s body.

Yugaandhar’s first comic was published under the name Yugaandhar by Manoj Comics. The story was written by Raahi, and the illustrations were done by Vijay Kadam and Neeta Borade. Yugaandhar’s story has everything that readers want to explore—political conspiracies, deception among demons, and monsters. If Yugaandhar is the main hero of the story, then Ektaang and Ekhaath are assistants because they both want to kill Yugaandhar but do not want to give anyone else the opportunity to kill him. Yugaandhar has an invincible chariot made of wood that he obtained by killing the Hinsak, the demon king.
