The Maharavan Series finale in Raj Comics shows Bhokal’s ultimate struggle against immortality, deception, and ego, culminating in the victory of self-knowledge and guru’s blessings.

The last stop of the longest and most layered saga of the golden era of Raj Comics, ‘Maharavan’, is not just the end of a war. This is the completion story of Mahabali Bhokal’s journey and a big moral victory for humanity. This special issue, written by Sanjay Gupta and created by Kadam Studio, takes the battles of the last three episodes — ‘Kapalika’, ‘Kalanka’ and ‘Mahayudh’ — to a point where the matter is not just about strength, but about the Guru. It is decided by blessings, self-confidence and sacrifice.
The biggest challenge of this issue is Maharavan’s immortality, which is due to the ‘Amrit’ flowing in his body. Bhokal had left his ego behind in the previous story, but now an enemy is standing in front of him, who has crossed the limits of divine blessings, deception and illusion. The story brings out the weakness of Maharavan’s elusive weapons, the emotional turns of his wives, Hanuman’s hidden last trick and Bhokal’s miraculous ‘regeneration’, making it a truly historic masterpiece in Indian comics.

The conflict of blood and resolution

‘Maharavan’’s cover page shows the real conflict of the story straight. The blood-soaked Maharavan is going to make his last attack on Bhokal, while Bhokal is confronting him with full courage and determination. Maharavan’s blue-jamuni color gives a feeling of his demonic strength and immortality, while Bhokal’s pink/red panties reflect his bravery and passion.

Kadam Studio has done wonders in showing emotions and stress this time. Pride and anger on Maharavan’s face, helplessness in the eyes of the ugly, and a slight mysterious smile on Hanuman’s lips, all these nuances make the story even heavier. Especially the scenes of Maharavan’s Prachandastra and Bhokal’s ‘Jwalashakti’ are so full of energy and grandeur that this last war is remembered for a long time.

The mystery of deceit, destruction and immortality

‘Maharavan’’s story is extremely dense and fast. A new difficulty and a new revelation emerge on almost every page. The main story runs in two parts: on one side the decreasing powers of Maharavan, and on the other side the destruction of Bhokal’s weapons, so that victory can ultimately be achieved not by force, but by inner strength.

Final examination and dedication of Divyastras

The story continues from where the ‘great war’ ended. Maharavan uses his illusory and divinely powerful weapons for the last time, and Bhokal, on Hanuman’s instructions, finds a solution to every weapon.

Hanuman’s sacrifice on Prachandastra

In the previous issue, Hanuman had sacrificed part of his body, the ‘Rampash’, to stop Prachandastra.

Attacking Shiva-Trishul and Nandi

Maharavan picks up Shiva’s trident and attacks Nandi. Later, Bhokal throws the same trident towards Kalanka as part of Hanuman’s strategy, which starts weakening Maharavan’s power.

Bhayankara and Mohini hypnotic (The Skull Demons):
Maharavan summons the fierce skull-demon (Bhayankara) and Mohini-Sampohak (Sampohak Mund), who hypnotize and mentally neutralize Bhokal and his companions. Maharavan’s wife Kurupa breaks this problem, the same Kurupa to whom Maharavan himself had given the skull-breaking power of Kali. But now she stands on the side of dharma and her son AtiKrur.

Betrayal and self-sacrifice of wives:

The most human and heart-touching twist of the story is the struggle of Maharavan’s wives. Maharavan, immersed in his strength and ego, uses his wives (whom he has enslaved by giving them elusive powers like ‘prong rope’ and ‘badal shakti’) and his children as human shields against Bhokal. He knows that Bhokal will never attack his family.

Meanwhile, Maharavan uses his next power—a toxic (a highly poisonous elusive snake). Ugly, to protect her children and humanity, agrees to sacrifice herself in front of that snake. At the same time, Hanuman’s hidden strategy works: Bhokal uses the poison gland of Matsyaketu (from the previous episode) to fight the toxin. On the principle of ‘toxin cuts toxin,’ the poison is destroyed and the ugliness is saved.

Mohini idols game and Maharavan’s mistake:

Maharavan, shaken by his continuous defeat, calls Tusharacharya again, a master of deceit and tricks. Hanuman, understanding this new threat, works on another secret plan. He hands over the Mohini idols to Maharavan himself. Maharavan decides that he will throw these idols at Bhokal, so that those idols will merge into Bhokal’s wife and children and subdue them forever.
But as Maharavan goes to throw the idols towards Bhokal, Hanuman’s plan shows its wonders:
The prong rope and bone power, controlled by Maharavan’s own power, attack Bhokal and collide with the same idols, getting destroyed on their own. This was a state of self-destruction, where Maharavan’s own powers overpower him.

The hypnotic effect of the statues is also broken by this confrontation. As those idols enter Kurupa and Saloni’s body, they are freed from the hypnosis they were already undergoing.
The burden of his own ego and cunning finally falls on Maharavan. Blinded by anger, he also kills Tusharacharya with Leo Shakti.

Bhokal’s Reaching Zero and Regeneration (The Path to Zero):

One by one, Maharavan’s powers diminish, but along with this, Bhokal’s divine weapons also keep disappearing.
Sudarshan Chakra destroys the vampire blood-filled bowl, but dissolves on its own.
Ganesha’s Ankush destroys Capricorn Shakti and also ends itself.
Panacea loses its power by colliding with Maharavan’s last weapon and merges.
Now Bhokal loses all his divine weapons and reaches the state of ‘zero’. When he invokes his Mahaguru (the same divine entity ‘Bhokal’, in whose name he got powers), Maharavan mocks his condition. Bhokal’s body turns into ‘sand Bhokal’—it was his physical death.

Rise of Jwalashakti and end of Maharavan

Bhokal turning into sand is the biggest twist in this entire saga. Maharavan celebrates his victory, confident that Bhokal, turned into sand, will never return.

But then Hanuman in his old form tells the real secret: “death-challenging Bhokal has found new life.” Mother Earth herself gives new life to the Bhokal scattered in the sand. She entrusts him with his last and greatest power—flamepower (sword full of fire-power).

This was that decisive moment. Jwalashakti was the only power that could dry up the nectar flowing in Maharavan’s body, so that he could lose immortality and become an ordinary mortal. Due to the blow of the flame, the entire nectar of Maharavan’s body gets burnt, and he becomes weak and turns into a normal mortal.

Now, Bhokal gives him his last blow with the flame power sword given by his Guru and cuts him into pieces, ending this terrible chapter.

Conclusion: Victory of Guru-Kripa and Self-Knowledge

‘Maharavan’ — the end of the saga is not just the death of a mighty villain; it is proof that both ego and immortality can be defeated by truth and self-denial.
Bhokal, throughout this journey, made himself a journey from a powerful warrior to a self-knowledge disciple. He had to lose all his external powers (divyastra), so that he could recognize his inner true power—Jwalashakti. Finally, Hanuman appears in his true ‘Bajrangbali’ form after the end of Maharavan. He tells Bhokal that he will always be in his heart, and then takes leave saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’. This farewell is a guru’s final satisfaction and blessings towards his disciple.
This comic also shows how much depth and philosophy Raj Comics has hidden in its mythological stories. The regeneration of Bhokal as a flame power is the greatest and grandest symbol of the victory of impermanence over immortality.

and guru’s blessings triumph over ego and immortality in this epic mythological saga. and how truth detailing Bhokal’s last battle against Maharavan’s immortality his divine weapons fading self-denial the rise of Jwalashakti the sacrifice and betrayal of Maharavan’s wives the strategic brilliance of Hanuman This blog provides an in-depth review of the Maharavan Series finale from Raj Comics
