Nagdant – An adversary of Nagraj possessing powers akin to Nagraj’s own, because both are creations of the same Professor Nagmani. Initially, we saw Nagraj and Nagdant in similar light. However, over time, we discovered that NagRaj wasn’t Nagmani’s creation. Instead, his parents were the King and Queen of Nag Nagar, and due to Lord Dev Kaljayi’s blessings, he was born. But when NagRaj turned against Nagmani, Nagdant set out on a quest to find an extraordinary serpent-human being. He possessed Nagraj’s blood and hid it. His search led him to China, and through serpent world contacts, he found a haven inhabited by rare beings.

At times, this place was home to both shape-shifting nagas and humans. Any human who married a naga or vice versa faced banishment, resulting in a unique community. Nagdant, originally named Fung, son of SunChi, lived there. Nagmani, under a scheme, ignited his aircraft, parachuted, and realized his desired outcome when SunChi found him. Nagmani was taken in by SunChi’s tribe, where he stayed during his recovery. SunChi noticed Nagmani’s intense scrutiny of human beings, and suspicion grew.

One night, SunChi’s doubt turned into certainty as he overheard Nagmani conversing with Fung in a deserted place. Nagmani revealed to Fung that he possessed the deadliest venom on Earth, more toxic than Nagraj’s. Greedy for the power of intoxication, Fung consumed the venom. His body turned green, scales emerged, and he lost consciousness. SunChi rushed to protect his son, but Nagmani attacked, taking Fung captive.

Nagdant first appeared in ‘Nagraj Ka Dushman’ comics but was unmasked in ‘Ichchhadhari Nagraj.’ NagRaj captured him, brought him to Nagdweep, but Nagdant managed to escape. Due to Nagadnt’s powers mirroring Nagraj’s, he repeatedly eluded capture. In a subsequent comic, Nagraj nearly defeated him, yet Nagdant survived once more. Readers prefer seeing Nagraj outsmart Nagdant rather than his demise, cherishing Nagraj’s triumphs.
