The story revolves around Dr. Gautam Subramanyam and his family, who get stranded in a deserted village during their journey from Nagapattinam to Chennai after their car breaks down. Gautam’s life takes a dark turn when he discovers that the village is haunted by ghosts and demons, and he attempts to save his family. What makes “The Village” special is that it is based on a graphic horror novel of the same name, published by Yali Dreams Creations. The story is written by Ashwin Srivatsangam and Shamik Dasgupta.
