W.W.W Raj Comics Review: Dhruv vs Spider Final Battle Explained
Dhruv’s most dangerous mission unfolds in Cambridge as the truth behind Spider shocks readers.

This last part of the series is titled ‘W.W.W.’ It has been kept very cleverly. On one hand, it points to the world of the Internet (World Wide Web), while in the story it means—a trap that is ready to take hold of the whole world. Cambridge, once a major center of education, has now become a dangerous lab where ‘Spider’ is preparing its mutant army. This issue is not just a fight between a superhero and a villain, but a dangerous race against time, where the safety of all humanity is at stake.

Links to previous issues: A complicated past

At this juncture of the review, it becomes necessary to remember the last two parts (‘Spider’ and ‘Website’). The story began with Din C—, a weak student who, in his desire to become a superhero, became a monster himself. But as we move on to the third part, ‘W.W.W.’, the reader realizes that what was shown so far was not the whole truth. The layers of the mystery that were woven in the last two issues open slowly in this final part. This part tests both Dhruv’s detective understanding and the readers’ patience.

The real face behind the mask: The biggest ‘twist’ in the comics world

The biggest strength of this issue is its climax twist. Throughout the series, readers were assured that the weak, bespectacled boy was the ‘Spider’. But Dhruv, with his sharp intelligence, brings out the truth that no one could catch. The real villain turns out to be Fitz (Fitz), not Din! Fitz not only gains powers but also tricks Din into being trapped by resorting to make-up and acting, so that the police and Dhruv are distracted from the real culprit. The reveal was literally like lightning striking for readers, and that twist makes the series a memorable ‘cult classic’.

Shweta’s transformation: A brother’s toughest ordeal

Dhruv’s sister Shweta, herself a brave fighter and a promising science student, is seen standing at a scary juncture in this issue. Spider makes her a mutant like himself (or at least she is shown to be). For Dhruv, this fight is no longer just about catching criminals, but about saving his sister’s life and bringing back her humanity. This physical and mental conflict between brother and sister shakes the heart. That ‘spider look’ of Shweta is a great example of Anupam Sinha’s brilliant artwork, where innocence and danger are seen on the same face.

Dhruv’s ‘Spying’ vs Spider’s ‘Atomic Fire’

In this issue, Spider’s forces are seen in full swing. Now he is not limited to just throwing webs; the fire of ‘atomic fire’, i.e., nuclear energy, is burning inside his body. Here Dhruv once again proves why he is called a super commando. Without any superpowers, he competes only on the basis of the gadgets and common sense present in his belt. Using ‘grease paint’ to eliminate the spider’s wall-clinging strength and resorting to science to control its fire—all these show the true qualities of Dhruv’s character.

Orgy on the Giant Wheel: A Confluence of Science and Courage

The story’s last encounter takes place on a fair’s ‘Giant Wheel’ (Giant Wheel), and the scene gives a completely filmy feel. Dhruv has understood that the radiation inside Spider’s body has turned him into a moving bomb. In such a situation, Dhruv makes a tremendous scientific plan. He bends the Giant Wheel plates to change the direction of the wind and passes them through fierce fireballs to the Anti-Serum Spider. This whole scene is so exciting that the reader is forced to turn the pages with bated breath.

Anupam Sinha’s paintbrush: The liveliness hidden in the scenes

Whatever is said about Anupam Sinha seems less. In ‘W.W.W.’, the way he has shown the entire army of mutant spiders is worth seeing. The devastation in the city, burning buildings, and especially the final form of the Spider, where its body is about to explode under the pressure of radiation—everything is very finely crafted. The choice of colors (especially dark green and orange) makes the nuclear threat and toxic atmosphere feel intense. To be honest, each panel tells a different story in itself.

Father’s sorrow and son’s ego: Raghupati and Fitz

The character of Dhruv’s uncle (Raghupati) in the story is heart-touching. When they discover that the monster they are standing up against to eliminate is their own son Fitz, the story suddenly takes a deep emotional turn. This part clearly shows that wrong company and unnecessary ego break not just one person but the entire family. Fitz’s end sounds like a sad warning—that misuse of power ultimately leads to one’s own destruction.

The End of ‘Atomic Pressure’ and the Villain: The End of an Evil

The ending of Spider (Fitz) is quite scary and symbolic. The increased ‘atomic pressure’ inside his body becomes so high that he is unable to handle it. Dhruv does try to save him, but Fitz’s ego does not let him accept help. Ultimately, his end with the explosion is a sign that the fire of hatred and revenge ultimately turns a man into ashes.

Series message: A superhero is not the one who has power

The real message of the entire ‘Spider’ series is very clear—there is no need for a radioactive spider bite or lab radiation to become a superhero. The real hero is the one who does not leave the path of truth even in difficult situations. Din and Fitz gain powers, but they do not become heroes. At the same time, Dhruv, despite living within his normal human limits, does what no mutant could do.

Conclusion: The glorious end of an immortal saga

‘W.W.W.’ is one of those stories from Raj Comics that you would like to read again and again. This is not just a story of Dhruv’s bravery, but a complicated yet very interesting tale of human nature, deception, science, and justice. This trilogy proved that the imagination of Indian writers and artists is no less than that of any major comics publisher in the world (like Marvel or DC).

If you want a complete comics experience—which has a powerful combination of thrill, emotion, and top-class artwork—then this finale of the ‘Spider’ series is no less than a treasure for you. Dhruv’s Cambridge mission has been recorded forever in the hearts of comics lovers.
