Can a machine have revenge, loyalty, and human emotions? India’s first autonomous AI supercomputer, ‘Jambu‘, which was developed by the country’s great scientist, Dr. Bhava, is no longer just a structure of iron and machines. The period of the ’80s: when America pulled out and India made the ‘father of computers’!
A small summary of past events is given at the beginning of the story so that even new readers can easily understand it.
When the US refused to give a supercomputer to India, the great scientist Dr. Bhava created the ‘Bap of Super Computer’ with his talent and named it Jambu. After this, foreign agencies sent Jingaru to eliminate Jambu and Dr. Bhava. After Dr. Bhava’s murder, his conscious mind is transferred into Jambu, and he becomes a thinking cyber-human, better than a machine.
Jingaru, on the other hand, traps him in a room where gravity has been eliminated. Due to the lack of oxygen, Jambu’s robotic lungs shut down, and his body disintegrates. Sushma is hung over an acid well.
When life awakened again in scattered parts
The story progresses from here. Jingaru and his companions start celebrating after seeing the broken body of Doctor Jonathan and Jambu. They think Jambu is gone forever.
Jingaru pretends to drop Sushma into the acid so that if Jambu is alive, he will come forward. But Jambu has already made a plan. His son Bunty reaches the control room, closes the lid of the acid well at the right time, and saves his mother’s life.
When the enemies arrive at the room to confirm Jambu’s death, his scattered robotic limbs begin to attach themselves on their own. Within a few moments, Jambu stands up again and attacks the enemies. His return becomes the most exciting scene in the story.
The helpless mother, the kidnapped son, and the mystery of the battery
Jingaru makes a new move after his first defeat. Scientist Jonathan explains that if Jambu’s main battery is destroyed, he will shut down forever.
For this, Bunty is kidnapped, and Sushma is forced to cut the wires of Jambu’s battery. With a special pair of scissors and a hidden camera, she goes to Jambu. Under compulsion, she cuts the battery wires, and Jambu falls lifeless. The enemies carry him to their secret base, locked inside a coffin.
Empty coffin and Jingaru’s greatest defeat
The coffin starts moving on its own as it reaches the secret base. When it is opened, Jambu is not inside. He is standing above the coffin, waiting for the enemies.
Then Jambu reveals that Sushma had already told him everything. The battery whose wires were cut was fake. The real battery was safely hidden inside his body. He staged this entire drama only to reach the enemies’ secret base.
Jambu then attacks the entire American base. The entire secret hideout is destroyed amid a hail of bullets and explosions.
The traitor hiding behind the uniform
The biggest twist in the story comes when Jambu reaches Chief Saxena with the injured Jingaru. As soon as the mask is removed, it is revealed that Jingaru is none other than Police Inspector Gulagpada.
Jambu explains that he had recognized him earlier, but deliberately did not capture him so that he could reach his foreign masters and secret base. This foresight makes him different from other superheroes.
