The rise of iron, the fall of balance, and the birth of a myth—Srishti takes the Yoddha universe to an epic scale.

In the world of Indian comics, the story of ‘Warrior’ (Yoddha) seems nothing less than a mythological epic. While ‘Aarambh’ laid the foundation of this world and ‘Suryansh’ gave depth to its characters, the third part of this series, ‘Srishti’, takes the story to a new and higher point. This comic is not just a battle of heroes and monsters, but an impressive narrative of evolution, technique (the invention of iron), the protection of beauty, and the balance of nature. Presented by Sanjay Gupta under the banner of Raj Comics and written by Tarun Kumar Wahi, this issue takes readers to ancient times where magic, bravery, and divine rules coexist.

Detailed analysis of the plot:

The story of this issue carries forward many important subplots together, which gradually move towards a bigger objective.

Rise of the Iron Age and the test of Shukracharya:
The story begins at the ashram of the demon guru Shukracharya. Here, Shukracharya tests his disciples, i.e., Diti’s sons — Bhukumpka, Narkata, Brahmamushthi, etc. Until now, weapons made of stone and wood were used in wars, but Shukracharya introduces them to iron for the first time. He teaches them how to melt iron using volcanic fire and forge deadly weapons from it. The scene depicts a major technological revolution in the story. Shukracharya’s statement — “This metal will symbolize your victory” — clearly indicates the terrible wars to come.

Birth of Apsaras and the terror of Tamas:
For the expansion of the universe, on the orders of Prajapati, divine nymphs — Men, Urn, Rambha, etc. — are born. But seeing their beauty, a cruel demon named Tamas attacks them. The power of Tamas is to steal form and youth. He snatches the beauty of the nymphs and makes them old. This part portrays the clash between beauty and darkness in the story extremely effectively.

Bravery and restraint of Shiromani (Warrior):
When Devraj Indra fails to stop Tamas and his arrow returns toward him, Shiromani (Warrior) enters the scene. He not only saves Indra’s life but also kills Tamas with his intelligence and bravery. Meanwhile, a very important aspect of Shiromani’s character comes to the fore — restraint. When a nymph tries to touch him to apply medicine to his wounds, he politely refuses the feminine touch. This scene establishes him not just as a brave warrior, but as a Mahayogi warrior.

Campaign of demons and the sacrifice of the mother:
On the other hand, the demon children are intoxicated by their increasing power. They defeat races like Ghoraksh (half horse, half demon) and make them their vehicles. When many demon warriors are killed after a fierce battle, their mother, Diti, sacrifices her life and brings them back to life. This scene shows the terrifying form of maternal love, where the mother erases herself to protect unrighteousness. After this, Shukracharya orders them to take control of the entire Earth.

Sage Nutrition and the Crisis of the Sky:
One of the most effective parts of the story is related to Rishi Nutri. Rishi Nutri showers nectar through his breath, due to which the earth remains green and fertile. But a demon named Nabhiksha hides himself in Nutri’s navel and starts sucking that nutritional power. As a result, the earth begins to turn barren and famine spreads. Creatures troubled by hunger start eating each other. To end this terrible crisis, Guru Brihaspati sends Shiromani and other gods.

Characterization

Shiromani (Warrior):
In this part, he emerges as a mature and responsible leader. His strength is no longer visible only in his weapons, but also in his principles and thinking. His battles against Tamas and Nabhiksha prove that he is the protector of both religion and nature.

Indra:
Indra appears here as a spirited but hasty young god. His respect for Shiromani gradually increases, which later becomes a strong foundation for their relationship.

Shukracharya:
He is a guru who teaches his disciples to win, even if it means playing with the laws of nature. The invention of iron clearly reflects his destructive thinking.

Nabhiksha:
He is a different kind of villain. The Keshakshasas (hair-made demons) that emerge from his body create a very frightening atmosphere. To defeat him, Shiromani has to rely not only on power but also on the knowledge of Jupiter.

Art and Portraiture

Nitin Mishra’s artwork is the soul of this issue. The melting iron inside the volcano, the divine beauty of the nymphs, and the horrific depiction of the barren earth are intricately engraved. The battle between Shiromani and Keshakshasa appears extremely dynamic, especially the web of hair spread by Keshakshasa across the pages, which sends shivers down the readers’ spines. The color combination by Shadab and Govind makes the experience darker—where dark and fiery tones dominate the demon camps, while calm and virtuous colors in the scenes of nymphs and sages bring the atmosphere of the story to life.

Key Messages and Philosophy:

‘Creation’ contains many deep philosophical messages within itself. The understanding of balance, morality, and character presented through ‘Suryansh’ gives the series the form of a timeless saga. The story of Rishi Nutri and Nabhiksha clearly shows that the balance of the universe exists only between the giver and the taker. When this balance is disturbed, it leads to destruction.

In terms of weapons and morality, the story makes it clear that if a power like iron is devoid of moral values, it becomes merely a means of slaughter. While the demons use it to spread empire and violence, the hero turns the same power into the foundation of defense and protection.

Finally, by redefining the character of the warrior, the story delivers the message that true bravery lies not in killing the enemy, but in conquering one’s own senses, as Shiromani proves in the context of the Apsara.

Critical Assessment:

Positive Side:
The greatest strength of the ‘Suryansh’ (Warrior Chain) lies in its diversity. Technique, the sense of protecting beauty, war, and philosophy—all are presented here in a rare and well-balanced mix. The world-building of this series is extremely detailed, where the introduction of new and unique creatures like ‘Horseback’ and ‘Horseback (Gorilla)’ makes this universe feel even more alive and complex.

The pacing of the story is so precise that it never feels loose at any point. New events occurring on every page constantly maintain the reader’s sense of adventure.

Downside:
With so many characters and subplots, the main protagonist, ‘Suryansh’, sometimes receives relatively less screen time. However, since this is a story with an ensemble cast, this reduction does not feel like a major drawback.

Some scenes—such as humans eating each other due to famine—can be slightly disturbing for young children.

Conclusion:

Raj Comics’ ‘Creation’ is a remarkable work that not only entertains the reader but also makes them think. It is not just the story of a superhero, but also the story of the development of civilization and the role of morality within it. Shiromani throwing the navel into a ‘tense-porous’ (black hole) presents a brilliant confluence of science and imagination.

Towards the end of the issue, the rise of a new enemy riding a ‘time chariot’ and the announcement of a ‘heaven character’ create immense curiosity for the next part. If you wish to see Indian mythology from a modern and fantasy-filled perspective, this installment of the ‘Yoddha’ series will definitely thrill you.

This comic also proves that Raj Comics possesses such a rich treasure of stories that it can give tough competition to any Hollywood cinematic universe.

Final Rating: 4.9/5 ⭐
