Super Commando Dhruv, due to his sharp mind, scientific temper, mastery of martial arts, and strong moral values, has been ruling the hearts of comics lovers for many years. The special thing about Dhruv’s stories is that they are not limited to just action. In them, such a wonderful combination of science, mystery, adventure, and human emotions is seen, which keeps readers of all ages engaged.

There is a memorable and wonderful story in this series — “Mummy’s Havoc”, which is no less than a treasure for Dhruv’s fans. Jolly Sinha’s excellent story and Anupam Sinha’s tremendous artwork have made this comic a classic.

This comic is not just a superhero fight, but a tremendous adventure woven by combining themes like ancient history, modern technology, and international terrorism.

The essence of the story: the meeting of history, terror, and technology

“Mummy Ka Kahar” starts in a very light and funny manner. We see Dhruv joking and laughing with his younger sister Shweta. Shweta, who is working as a part-time tourist guide for her pocket money, is preparing to take some American tourists on a tour of the historical places of Rajnagar. This opening part gives the story a homely and realistic feel, allowing readers to instantly connect with the characters.

But the atmosphere suddenly changes when Shweta arrives at an old, deserted palace named Ratna Mahal with those tourists. Then they are attacked by a terrorist organization named ‘Jihad-e-Lashkar’. Their objective is to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level by taking American tourists hostage.

From here, the tone of the story becomes serious, and it turns into not just a superhero adventure but a contemporary and thought-provoking story.

Meanwhile, in this atmosphere of danger, Vikram, a member of the tourist group, comes across as an unexpected hero. He is an expert in electronics and entangles the terrorists with the help of gadgets made by him. This provides some relief to the other people.

ध्रुव बनाम ममी – जब Super Commando Dhruva ने विज्ञान, आतंकवाद और रहस्य की सबसे घातक जंग लड़ी!

Meanwhile, Shweta also comes in her fighting form ‘Chandika’ and faces the terrorists. And then our hero Dhruv, posing as a super commando, reaches the spot.

Now the real twist begins — when Dhruv, Shweta, and the rest of the tourists reach a secret basement under the palace while escaping from the terrorists. There they find a centuries-old treasure and a coffin of Gajbal Dauri, the last king of Rajnagar.

But happiness does not last long — the age-old curse awakens as soon as the coffin opens. Raja Gajbal Dauri’s mummy comes alive!

She reveals herself to be Rajnagar’s real heir and threatens to destroy the entire Rajnagar to get her treasure back.

Now the story turns into a complete horror and mystery thriller. The mummy begins to wreak havoc throughout the city with her supernatural powers. The rays emanating from her eyes and her inhuman strength become a huge challenge for Dhruv.

On one side there are terrorists, and on the other side an ancient, seemingly invincible mummy — Dhruv finds himself in double trouble.

Characterization: Heroes, Villains, and Mysteries

Super Commando Dhruv: Dhruv appears at his finest in this comic. He is not only a powerful fighter but also a sharp-minded spy and scientist. On one hand, he confronts terrorists, while on the other, he uses his intelligence and scientific thinking to solve the mystery of the ‘mummy’. Dhruv’s very nature — that he does not trust superstition but tries to find the truth behind every mystery — takes him to the end of the story.
His love for Shweta and his concern for the safety of the tourists show that he has both humanity and responsibility. He is not only a superhero but also a sensitive person at heart.

Shweta/Chandika: Shweta’s character is also very important in this story. She doesn’t look like a help-seeking girl but emerges as a sensible and courageous person. Initially, she takes the story forward as a guide, and when the situation worsens, she fiercely fights the terrorists by changing her form to ‘Chandika’.
She proves to be Dhruv’s true companion — on many occasions saving everyone’s life with her courage, wisdom, and quick decisions.

Vikram (Gajabal Dauri): Vikram’s character is the biggest mystery and twist of the story. Initially, he seems to be a helpful and intelligent tourist who helps everyone with his gadgets. But as the story progresses, his true face is revealed.
Actually, he is a descendant of King Gajabal Dauri, who hatches this entire conspiracy to get the treasure of his ancestors.
Vikram’s character is very clever and complex. He is a villain in whom a deadly combination of old-fashioned greed and new technology can be seen. His thinking shows how man’s greed and obsession with his inheritance can lead him to destruction.

Mummy: The ‘mummy’ is the scariest and most memorable character in the story. For most of the story, she comes across as a supernatural force — her shining eyes, body wrapped in bandages, and her terrifying presence shake even the souls of the readers.
But as soon as the truth finally comes out that she is not a cursed soul but a high-tech robot created and controlled by Vikram, the whole meaning of the story changes.
This is where the true theme of the comic becomes clear — science vs superstition. That is, there could be a logical and scientific reason behind something that seems mysterious or scary to us.

Art and Narrative Style: A Spectacular Scene and a Confluence of Story

Illustration: Anupam Sinha’s artwork is the hallmark of Raj Comics anyway, and “Mummy Ka Kahar” is a great example of this. There is so much life in the pictures made by him that the story seems to move before our eyes. Every panel is finely made — action scenes are full of tremendous passion and movement.

The facial expressions of the characters — Dhruv’s determination, Shweta’s worry, Vikram’s clever smile, and the Mummy’s scary look — make every turn of the story more effective.
The atmosphere of the castle ruins, the mysterious shadow of the basement, and the first-time view of the mummy — everything is so beautifully made that while reading, it feels as if we are standing there ourselves.

Story Style: Jolly Sinha’s storytelling style is very interesting and tight. The story doesn’t bore you even for a moment. Mystery, twist, and action — everything moves at such a speed that it keeps the reader engaged till the last page.
The story starts with a light-hearted family scene, then suddenly turns into a terrorist thriller, then takes the color of a horror mystery, and finally takes the form of a science-fiction action.
That means there are so many different shades in the same comic that something new is seen every moment.
The dialogues are also accurate and effective. Dhruv’s scientific thinking and Vikram’s arguments about his legacy give an ideological depth to the story, making it not just entertainment but a thought-provoking one.

Themes and Analysis: Not Just a Comic, A Deep Thought

“Mummy’s Havoc”, seen from above, may seem like an action-adventure story, but there are many deep messages hidden in it.
The biggest theme of the story is — science vs superstition.
While the mummy is initially considered a scary, supernatural force, Dhruv’s scientific thinking ultimately proves that there is a logical reason behind every mystery.
The mummy’s fear, when neutralized in the face of the truth of science and technology, constitutes the real message of the story — that there is definitely a reason behind every “miracle.”
Vikram’s character is a symbol of greed and obsession. He becomes so blinded by his attachment to his heritage and treasure that he takes the path of crime and treason. His story shows that when a person becomes blinded by greed, both his intelligence and humanity are destroyed.
Finally, “Mummy’s Havoc” creates a beautiful bridge between history and modernity. Rajnagar’s old history, linked to issues like modern technology and terrorism, shows how old civilizations and new thinking together shape the present of man — sometimes for good, sometimes for bad.

Conclusion: Why “Mummy’s Havoc” is Still as Awesome Today

“Mummy’s Havoc” is one of the most memorable and best stories of Super Commando Dhruv. It has everything — mystery, adventure, action, science, horror, and a deep social message.
Anupam Sinha’s brilliant drawings and Jolly Sinha’s tremendous writing have made it an experience that one cannot forget even after reading it once.
This story shows that Dhruv is not just a superhero but a thinker — who exemplifies intelligence, bravery, trust in science, and standing firm for justice.
“Mummy’s Havoc” still looks as effective and fun today as it was at the time of its release.
It’s a nostalgic journey for old fans and a great opportunity for a new generation of readers to know the real world of Indian superheroes.
Simply put, “Mummy Ka Kahar” is the shining gem of the golden age of comics, which every comic lover must read.
