The story begins with a mysterious wish-bearing snake, Vishput, who is found badly injured on the city streets. Nagraj, who is on a mission to “uproot crime and terrorism”, immediately reaches the crime scene.
When the universe is in danger… and our superheroes are kinda confused!

The meeting of Nagraj and Super Commando Dhruva in the world of Raj Comics is no less than a festival. And when it’s about comics like “Pralaya”, you can be sure that along with firecrackers, some missiles will also be launched! This is not just a comic, it’s an experience, an experience that will make you laugh, scare you, and sometimes even force you to think, “Hey, what’s all this happening?” So, let’s fasten our seat belts, because we are about to dive into the world of “Pralaya”, where a war breaks out between humans and snakes that threatens to devour the entire world. And the puppeteers of this war are our very own Nagraj and Super Commando Dhruva, who are engrossed in their own tunes.
Vishaput’s mysterious death and Nagraj’s classic “I-know-everything” mode
The story begins with a mysterious wish-bearing snake, Vishput, who is found badly injured on the city streets. Nagraj, who is on a mission to “uproot crime and terrorism”, immediately reaches the crime scene. Here we see Nagraj’s classic attitude, “I am a Snake, I know everything!” But poor Vishput doesn’t get a chance to complete his statement, because another strange snake, Vishive, eliminates him in the blink of an eye. And yes, that Vishive! His venom is so dangerous that even Nagraj is taken aback for a moment. “Ah! This venom has burned me too. But how?” Nagraj’s question makes us think too, because we know that Nagraj’s venom is one of the most dangerous venoms in the world.
Now Nagraj realizes that this Vishive is not an ordinary snake, but a snake whose venom is the “cut” of Nagraj’s venom. Meaning, if Nagraj’s venom is positive, this is negative. In other words, they are mortal enemies, and a ‘Pralay’ was bound to come in their fight! Nagraj immediately sets off for Nagdweep, where Mahatma Kaldoot and other snakes are facing this mysterious threat.
Vishala – deadly in looks, deadlier in power

Even before reaching Nagadweep, Nagaraj learns that trouble has already arrived. And this trouble is none other than Visala, Vishandhar’s companion. Visala’s entry is so spectacular that for a moment you’ll forget you’re reading a comic and think a Hollywood villainess has arrived. Demonstrating her powers, she attacks Mahatma Kaldoot and his companions. Here we see Visala’s style of ‘I am beautiful and dangerous’. She is not just powerful, but her words are equally sharp.
Visala’s goal is clear: to capture Nagadweep and free Vishandhar. But Mahatma Kaldoot and his companions are no less. They confront Visala with all their might, but Visala’s powers are so immense that they are forced to retreat. Here we see moments where the powers of snakes are so incredible that you’ll wonder, “Is this really a comic, or a Hollywood superhero film?”
When Rajnagar turns into a battleground and Nagraj locks horns with Dhruva
On one side, chaos reigns in Nagadweep, and on the other, snake terror spreads in Rajnagar. And here enters our Super Commando Dhruv. Dhruv, known for his intelligence and bravery, immediately springs into action. But these are not ordinary snakes; they are Visaive’s companions, and their powers are no less. Here we see Dhruv’s classic attitude, “I am Super Commando Dhruv, I fear no one!”
When Nagaraj and Dhruv first come face to face, for a moment it seems they will together crush their enemies. But no, this is a Raj Comics story! Here, there’s no shortage of twists and turns. Nagaraj and Dhruv mistake each other as enemies and clash. Here we see some hilarious moments where both superheroes test their powers on each other, and we viewers can’t help but laugh. “Hey, why are you two fighting? The enemy is over there!”
When two heroes think each other is the villain

The most entertaining aspect of this comic is the game of misunderstanding. Nagraj and Dhruv are both right in their own places, but they cannot understand each other’s intentions. Nagraj thinks Dhruv is the enemy of snakes, and Dhruv thinks Nagraj is spreading terror in Rajnagar. This misunderstanding grows so much that they start attacking each other. Here we see moments where Nagraj uses his venom spray, and Dhruv confronts him with his bravery and cleverness.
Behind this misunderstanding is the hand of Vishadhar and Vishala, who are making these two superheroes fight each other through their schemes. This shows how even the most powerful heroes can sometimes fall victim to small misunderstandings. And yes, when these two fight, we get to see some action sequences that keep us glued to our seats.
That “Ohhh… you’re the good guy!” moment
In the middle of the story, when Nagraj and Dhruv are exhausted from fighting each other, they discover the truth. They realize that they are fighting against the same enemy, and they must work together. Here we see a moment where Nagraj and Dhruv shake hands, and we viewers take a sigh of relief. “Thank goodness, now these two will teach the enemies a lesson together!”
Here we learn the entire plan of Vishadhar and Vishala. They want to take over Nagdweep and rule the world of snakes, and for this, they want to remove Nagraj and Dhruv from their path. But our superheroes are no less. Once they know the truth, they confront the enemies with their full strength.
When Nagraj and Dhruva team up to bring the real Pralay (Apocalypse)
The climax of the comic is the epic battle of Nagraj, Dhruv, and the snakes of Nagdweep against Vishadhar and Vishala. Here we see some action sequences that force us to jump out of our seats. Nagraj uses his venom spray and snake noose, while Dhruv confronts the enemies with his bravery and gadgets.
Vishala fights with all her might, but she has to accept defeat in front of the combined strength of Nagraj and Dhruv. Vishadhar also plays his tricks, but in the end, he also has to face defeat. In this battle, we get to see an excellent display of the various powers of snakes and Dhruv’s amazing abilities. This battle is so intense that you won’t be able to take your eyes off for a moment.
Superpowers + Misunderstanding = Super comedy gold

This comic has a full dose of humor along with action and drama. The misunderstandings between Nagraj and Dhruva, their banter, and some of their dialogues will force you to laugh. Especially when they fight each other, thinking they are enemies, their words and actions are so entertaining that you won’t be able to control your laughter.
For example, when Nagraj starts burning from Visaive’s poison, his reaction is quite funny. Or when Dhruva tries to stop the terror of snakes, his actions will tickle you. This humor makes the comic even more entertaining and reminds us that superheroes can sometimes be funny.
Anupam Sinha’s storytelling and artwork magic at its finest
