Reading and understanding ‘Flemina’, an important comic of the golden age of Raj Comics, is really no less than a thrilling journey. This is not just a superhero story, but a grand confluence of the entire universe of Raj Comics, where Nagraj, Super Commando Dhruv, Doga and the universe protector are seen together. This 85-page multistarrer special is still considered a classic today because of its deep story, the juxtaposition of science and emotion, and the constant twists.

Here, an attempt has been made to understand this comic in detail in easy and simple language, so that every important aspect of the story remains clear and its impact does not diminish.

Introduction: Big Confluence of Raj Comics

‘Flemina’ came at a time when Raj Comics was experimenting with new ideas and presenting different types of stories. The story was written by Jolly Sinha and the artwork was done by Anupam Sinha. Together, the duo created a story in which a good balance of science and fantasy is seen. The special thing about this comic is its title character ‘Flemina’, who emerges as a new superheroine. But the story does not just revolve around her; it expands into a battle to save the entire Earth.

Beginning of the Plot: A Scientific Accident

The story begins with scientist Kailash and his daughter Shama. Kailash is working on a formula which, if successful, can bring a big change for humanity. But as often happens in such stories, a major accident occurs during an experiment. In this accident, Kailash himself becomes ‘Lava’, that is, a person who keeps burning like fire. His daughter Shama is also transformed by this accident and becomes ‘Flemina’.

Flemina has the power to control fire and fly. From here, the emotional aspect also gets added to the story. A father and daughter, who were earlier living a normal life, have now lost their identity. They become separated from society and are forced to live a new, strange, and difficult life. This part does not let the story remain just an action comic, but also gives it emotional depth.

Villain ‘Guru’ and the ‘Shink-Re’ Threat

The main villain of the story is ‘Guru’, who comes from another planet, ‘Gochal’. Guru’s race, the ‘Gurachi’, is on the verge of destruction due to the depletion of water on its planet. He does not come to Earth just to cause havoc, but with the intention of saving his planet. His thinking does not seem completely wrong, but his methods are dangerous.

Guru brings with him a special technique, namely ‘Shink-Re’. It is a machine that can make anything or any human very small, almost to the level of an atom. The story takes a big turn when he uses this technology on a school bus. The scene is quite shocking, and that is where the real confrontation begins.

Nagraj enters at this point. Nagraj tries to stop Guru but faces difficulty. Whenever they try to catch Guru, he shrinks them or the things around them. This fight does not become one of direct strength, but rather a battle of intelligence and technique.

The Heroes Come Together: Dhruv, Doga, and the Universe Guard

‘Flemina’’s greatest strength is its multistarrer style. When Nagraj is unable to stop Guru alone, Steel and Cybro of the universe-saving team come to the field. After this, Super Commando Dhruv and Doga also join the mission.

The special thing about the story is that every hero is shown with his own identity. Nagraj fights with his snake powers and tremendous agility. Dhruv tries to understand Guru’s technique with his sharp mind and scientific understanding. Doga confronts the enemies in his strict and fearless manner. Steel goes into battle with his heavy technology and modern weapons.

All of them coming together is like a festival for the readers. And when Guru makes them all smaller, the story becomes even more interesting. Despite being reduced in size, their courage does not diminish at all. This is what makes this part very inspiring.

The Mystery of the Himalayas and the Teen Heroes

Another part of the story unfolds in the Himalayan valleys. Here Shama, i.e., Flemina, has gone trekking with her friends Vishank and Millu. During this time, we also get a glimpse of Chhota Nagraj and the Teen Heroes.

Guru has made his secret base in a cave in the Himalayas. This is where Shama’s true strength is fully revealed. Guru needs a lot of energy to run his machine. He realizes that Flemina’s fire power can be useful to him. So he kidnaps Shama and wants to use her as a battery.

This part is the most stressful segment of the story. Guru plans to shrink the Earth’s oceans with Flemina’s energy and take that water to his planet. That means the entire Earth is in danger. Here, the stakes of the story become huge, and the reader wants to know till the end what will happen next.

In this way, ‘Flemina’ does not remain just a superhero comic, but becomes a powerful combination of science, emotion, adventure, and teamwork, which makes it special. In simple words, this story engages both the mind and the heart, and this is its biggest strength.

Guru’s Devastating Plan

Guru’s ultimate objective is very dangerous. He wants to shrink the water of all the Earth’s oceans and fill it into a single glass, so that he can take it to his planet. If this plan had been successful, life on Earth would have almost ended. From here, the story takes the form of a global crisis.

Rivers start drying up, the flow of springs stops, and people create chaos over water. These scenes have been shown very effectively. While reading, one clearly feels how important water is. The story also directly gives the message of environmental and water conservation, without delivering any speech.

Climax: The Real Test of Mind and Strength

When all the great heroes are captured inside Guru’s vehicle, the situation becomes very serious. This is where Dhruv’s sharp mind comes in handy. He understands that Guru’s machines are running on scientific principles like centrifugal force and oxidation. That means this battle cannot be won with strength alone; it also requires intelligence.

The most exciting turn comes when Chhota Nagraj, i.e., Vishank, and Cybro secretly reach Guru’s control centre. Cybro uses its computer knowledge and inserts an anti-program into Guru’s system. This scene clearly shows that modern battles are not won only by punches and weapons, but also by technology and coding.

Finally, Kailash, now known as Lava Uncle, comes to the field. He uses his intense heat to convert the water that had been shrunk back into steam. This creates clouds and causes heavy rain. Gradually, the oceans begin to fill up again. This moment is the most powerful and emotional part of the story, where both sacrifice and science are seen together.

The Changing Heart of the Villain: A Different Side of the Story

The special thing about Raj Comics is that its villains are not just black and white. Guru is also not completely evil. Dhruv understands his helplessness. In the end, Dhruv tells him that the water on his planet has not completely disappeared, but has turned into ice and accumulated beneath the ground.

Dhruv explains to him to use his technology to melt that ice, rather than destroy another planet. Guru accepts his mistake and goes back peacefully. This ending gives the story a meaningful and instructive twist.

Art and Illustration

The artwork in this comic is truly wonderful. The difference between a large Nagraj and a tiny Nagraj, as small as an ant, is shown very clearly and in detail. Guru’s spaceship and his machines look quite modern for that time.

The battle inside the pipes, the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, and the rain scenes still leave a strong impact. Despite the printing limitations of that period, the use of colors makes the story more lively.

Flemina’s Character: Could She Have Shined More?

The name of the comic is ‘Flemina’, but in the final part of the story she seems to remain in trouble for a long time. Her powers are definitely used, but many readers may feel that she herself could have been shown in more action.

Still, her and her father’s tragic story gives this entire comic emotional strength. The depth of their relationship does not allow the story to be limited to just action.

Scientific Aspects

Raj Comics has always given importance to science. Here too, elements like the logic behind the shrink-ray, the concept of water density, and computer programming make the story interesting and somewhat educational.

Dhruv takes every step thoughtfully, and there is some scientific reasoning behind his decisions. This is the reason why this comic does not rely only on magic or imagination, but also shows clear logic.

With a Critical Eye

It is not easy to bring so many heroes together. Often, some characters are left behind. Doga’s role here seems a bit weak because his guns and physical strength do not show much impact against Guru’s high-tech machines.

Technical characters like Steel and Cybro get good opportunities. The pace of the story initially moves fast, slows down slightly during the Himalayan segment in the middle, but becomes fast-paced again by the time the climax arrives.

Conclusion

‘Flemina’ is not just a comic, but an example of the creative thinking of a period when Indian comics were presenting stories on a large scale. It has courage, teamwork, and curiosity about science.

This story teaches us that pride in one’s strength ultimately leads to harm. No matter how big the problem is, it can be solved together and intelligently. Eliminating the enemy is not the only solution; sometimes it is more important to understand his problem.

Today, when we talk about multiverse and crossover films, we are reminded that such experiments had already taken place in Indian comics long ago. This 85-page story deserves a special place in every comic lover’s collection. It thrills children and makes adults think.

Cybro and Flemina in a high-stakes scientific battle against Guru and his Shink-Re technology threatening Earth’s oceans. Doga Flemina is a golden era Raj Comics multistarrer that brings together Nagraj Steel super commando dhruv
