It is said that the Mamba snake does not fear water even after being bitten. However, in this world, there is a terrifying human for whom the venom of this extremely poisonous snake is nothing compared to something lighter than intoxication. The one who dares to cross the path of this dreadful person never survives. In the criminal world, this fearless emperor is known by a single name, Grand Master Robo.
These lines depict the first page of the ‘Grand Master Robo’ comic, revealing the ferocity of Grand Master Robo as soon as the page is turned.
Grand Master Robo’s real name was Robert Sheen. According to police files, Robert Sheen was involved in minor criminal activities, but due to his courage and daring nature, local thugs started considering him their guru. This association led to his downfall. The situation worsened when a dangerous mafia chief, El Salvano, asked him to work together, but Robert Sheen refused, rejecting the lure of El Salvano’s power.
Upon witnessing Robert’s defiance, El Salvano realized that although Robert may not be a current threat, he could become a significant problem in the future. Thus, a bloody game began. Armed with El Salvano’s modern weapons, well-trained men attacked the Robert Gang’s hideout without warning. The members of the Rabat Gang were not prepared for this assault and were easily defeated. However, Robert’s accuracy with his shots proved deadly, and despite running out of ammunition, he continued to overpower El Salvano’s men effortlessly.
Seeing this, El Salvano resorted to something that didn’t require a target but sought out its own target. A bomb explosion left Rabat injured, and he was taken to Shielder Nursing Home. The founders of the nursing home, Dr. Shielder and Merian, discovered Rabat’s critical condition. Dr. Shielder, an expert in robotic technology, and Merian, his assistant and lover, decided to treat Rabat using an unconventional method that had never been tested before. Thus, Rabat Sheen transformed into Grand Master Robo.
The first encounter between Robo and Dhruv occurs in the ‘Grand Master Robo’ comics, where Robo attacks the Golden City. Dhruv and Dhannajay join forces to confront him, forcing Robo to retreat. Subsequently, in ‘Black Cat’ and ‘Robo’s Revenge,’ Robo tries to bring his daughter Natasha (formerly known as Commander Natasha in the Robo Gang) back into a life of crime. Still, she escapes with Dhruv’s intervention.
Their conflict is depicted in several comics, where Dhruv, and at times Robo, saves each other’s lives. In ‘Statue’ and ‘Game Over’ comics, Robo is shown becoming ill and creating a clone named ‘Product.’ It wouldn’t be wrong to say that in the future, we might witness conflicts between Dhruv and Product.
