In the vast expanse of Earth’s galaxy, there exists a planet called ‘Hypna,’ housing a mighty kingdom named Proka. The ruler of Proka, King Toskar, was just and caring towards his subjects. However, his brother-in-law, Kaskor, driven by greed for power, harbored ambitions of seizing the throne. Succumbing to his desires, Kaskor poisoned the king, and only the royal Mesmer could provide a cure. Exploiting this knowledge, Kaskor sought the help of his ruthless friend Dakor and had Mesmer assassinated on the way to the royal palace.
Subsequently, Dakor visited Mesmer’s dwelling, where he mercilessly killed his sons, Meetan and Jeevan. The youngest, Shutan, narrowly escaped by hiding in a hollow part of a tree. Discovering his brothers’ lifeless bodies, Shutan fled in rage but collided with a rock, losing consciousness. Upon awakening, he found himself in the presence of an elderly man named Pasgur. Pasgur revealed that Mesmer was not dead but in a trance, imprisoned by Dakor in a coffin in the mystical olympics.
Shutan persuaded Pasgur that he could avenge his father only by attaining the same level of power as Dakor. Accepting Shutan’s plea, Pasgur initiated his training. During this process, Shutan learned that his father was not deceased but unconscious, taken to Olympak for his magical abilities. With Pasgur’s guidance and mystical energy, Shutan reached Vikasnagar, triumphed over the formidable Foonchaa challenges, and emerged victorious.
Empowered with newfound abilities, Shutan confronted and defeated Dakor with mesmerizing prowess, ending Dakor’s tyrannical rule and liberating his father from captivity. Now known as the Sammohan Samrat, Shutan proved to be not only a potent hero but also displayed wit, humor, and resilience.
Shutan formed unique bonds with allies Bhokal, Turin, and Atikrur, engaging in playful banter, particularly with Turin. Despite his imposing presence, Shutan saved Bhokal’s life multiple times, considering Turin as his sister and being willing to confront Bhokal for her sake. Shutan experienced two marriages – the first with Venu, daughter of the sorcerer Bhadzhonk from the planet Dukhaan, and the second with Ladki, whom he saved in Cheetanagari. Later, Ladki revealed herself as his wife as per their tradition.
While Shutan’s demise was depicted in the comics, similar to Turin, he made a triumphant return in the Shutan comics.
