Yogiraj is a master of the art of yoga. In Yogiraj, the task at hand is to train young recruits for a unique battalion dedicated to yoga in the Indian Army. Trikal, his favorite disciple, is deeply devoted to him. However, this story is not about Trikal. It is about a young man who appears in Yogiraj’s dreams every night, touching his feet, yet despite possessing miraculous powers, Yogiraj is unable to do anything. One day, when thugs attempt to eliminate Yogiraj, he reveals his ultimate destructive weapon before they can harm him. However, before Yogiraj can unleash his devastating power, the young man manifests in the air, driving the thugs away.

Meanwhile, observing their nation vulnerable, the enemy contacts a sinister sorcerer named Bhbhoota. Bhbhoota is a ruthless and mystical sorcerer who sends his disciples to eliminate Yogiraj. The young man effortlessly defeats them, and just as Yogiraj is about to unleash his catastrophic weapon, the youth materializes. A fierce battle ensues between the youth, armed with his magical yoga powers, and the mystical sorcerer Bhbhoota. The youth triumphs, using his yogic powers to defeat Bhbhoota. Impressed by the young man’s abilities, Yogiraj names him Yoga, revealing his true identity as Shagun. When he was fifteen, Shagun’s invention, the “Neeli Chhatri” (a molecular dish antenna capable of capturing unseen and unheard waves in the atmosphere), was stolen to prevent his father, Professor Vrikam, from using it. Shagun’s parents were murdered, and his home was set ablaze, but he escaped through a tunnel he had built himself.

Realizing that the sinister tantric Bhbhoota was behind these events, Shagun understands that he must learn the art of yoga to defeat him. He seeks Yogiraj’s guidance, but due to his age, Yogiraj initially refuses, as he usually teaches younger students. However, Shagun’s determination leads him to establish a statue of Yogiraj and embark on the path of yoga on his own.

The comic series “Yoga” was introduced by Tulsi Comics, founded by Divgant Ved Prakash. He wrote the story, while the illustrations were done by Pratap Mullik, who also worked on Nagaraj comics. The Yoga comic quickly gained popularity among readers not only because of the introduction of a new superhero but also due to its larger comic size compared to other publications, creating curiosity among the readers. The initial story of Yoga revolves around Shagun’s transformation, seeking revenge for his parents’ murder, and his journey into mastering the unique powers of yoga.

If we delve into Shagun’s powers, he possesses the unique ability to create replicas of his skeletal hands, known as “Insaf,” using the bones of his deceased parents. These bone replicas function as weapons against his enemies. It is said that Yoga’s true identity lies not in his physical body but in his soul, which can transcend anywhere.
