Website Raj Comics Review: Spider vs Super Commando Dhruv in Cambridge
Spider’s growing madness and Dhruv’s sharp intelligence collide in the dark streets of Cambridge.

The story starts where ‘Spider’ (first part) ended. The quiet streets of Cambridge, England, are now under the influence of a scary shadow. The ‘website’ word used here is not just for the Internet, but for that ‘mesh’ (web) that the criminal ‘Spider’ has spread all over the city. In the first part, we saw how a simple student named Din transforms into a spider-like creature due to the effect of radiation. In this second part, he uses his power not only for personal revenge but also starts considering himself above the law. The atmosphere of the story is foreign, which creates new problems for Dhruv, because here he does not get the same support from his ‘commando force’ or local police as he got in India.

Character of ‘Din’ Swinging Between Humanity and Demonism

The biggest feature of this issue is the turmoil going on inside Din’s (Spider’s) mind. He still considers himself a ‘superhero’. He is punishing criminals and catching drug dealers, but his method has become so violent and ruthless that he himself has become a big criminal. He wants to make Shweta (Dhruv’s sister) his ‘queen’. Din’s character clearly shows how the ‘feeling of insecurity’ (insecurity) and the ‘intoxication of power’ together can turn a good person into a monster. He wants to take revenge for society’s ‘bullying’ on the whole society. His dialogues show a strange madness and tremendous confidence, which makes him one of the most memorable villains of Raj Comics.

When Dhruv’s Sharp Intelligence Became the Biggest Weapon

The biggest strength of Super Commando Dhruv is that he does not have any supernatural power. In this comic, Dhruv is seen living within his limits and fighting an enemy who is many times more powerful than him. Here Dhruv is seen more in the role of a detective. He tries to reach Spider with the help of scientific facts, footprints, and behavioral psychology. From the rugby match scene to Spider finding a hiding place, Dhruv’s every move is thoughtfully made. He knows he can’t defeat Spider with just strength, so he resorts to radiation and science.

Shweta: Not Just a Victim, but an Embodiment of Courage

Often in comics, the hero’s sister is shown as just a character to be saved (damsel in distress), but Jolly Sinha has introduced Shweta here like a ‘fighter’. Shweta herself is a student of microbiology, and she understands the threat of Spider from a scientific perspective. She does not give up even after being caught in Spider’s trap. Even in Dhruv’s absence, she uses her understanding and tries to make Din realize his mistake. The dialogues between Shweta and Din give emotional depth to the story, where on one side there are memories of old friendship and on the other side there is today’s bitter truth.

The Bloody Game of Spiders in Dark Nights: An Expansion of the Plot

The ‘website’ story moves at a very fast pace. There are also many small sub-stories going on in it, like the wedding incident of Dhruv’s uncle, which creates a slightly lighter atmosphere in the story. But the real story always revolves around the ticking of that radiation meter. Spider punishing corrupt officers of the police department and then declaring himself the messiah of the city—there is a social message hidden in all this. Is mob justice (mob justice) right? Din justifies this, while Dhruv supports law and morality. This same conceptual clash elevates this comic above a simple action story.

Grand Display of Anupam Sinha’s Art

Anupam Sinha’s art is no less than a visual treat for the fans of Raj Comics. The extra legs that come out of Spider’s body, his creepy red eyes, and the changes that come to his face are shown very closely. At the same time, Spider’s swing between the buildings and Dhruv’s action scenes feel tremendously dynamic. The artist has been completely successful in making the backdrop of England’s streets, churches, and labs stand out from the Indian environment. Especially in night scenes, the use of blue-violet colors and green to show radiation further increases the thrill of the story.

A Unique Confluence of Science and Imagination

This comic is completely filled with ‘sci-fi’ (Sci-Fi) elements. Radiation Lab, Gamma Finder, Radioactive Mutations (mutation), and Blood Reports—all these things give it a modern thriller feel. The author has not just said that he became ‘Spider’, but has also tried to explain the scientific reasons behind it (even if they are imaginary). Dhruv’s tracking of Spider’s body temperature and his radiation frequency shows that Raj Comics used to make its readers think as well.

The Story of Intoxication of Power and Moral Degradation

The main subject of this part is ‘power’. Din repeatedly says no one can bully him anymore. He uses his power to scare away those people whom he himself was once afraid of. This is a clear message to the readers that the fire of revenge ultimately turns a person into the evil he wanted to eliminate. Dhruv’s character here comes out as a symbol of balance—whether he has power or not, his values and morals never change.

‘Coming’ World Wide Web (WWW) Sound

The comic ends on a tremendous cliffhanger. Spider is no longer just a local threat. The radioactive process going on inside his body is turning him into a ‘moving atomic bomb’. Now the challenge before Dhruv is not just to save Shweta, but also to save the entire city of Cambridge from a terrible explosion. ‘WWW on the last page—advertising the World Wide Web’ creates tremendous curiosity in readers for the next part. This is a great example of the marketing and storytelling art of the series.

Final Evaluation

‘Website’ Raj is such an important link in the history of comics that it shows that Indian comics also had the full potential to tell world-class stories. This part of the ‘Spider’ series takes things to new heights. It has powerful action, deep emotions, and above all, a villain you hate, but whose tragedy (tragedy) also makes you feel sad inside.

This is an essential, readable (must-read) comic for fans of Super Commando Dhruv. It teaches us that greatness lies not only in powers but in the proper use of those powers. This work of Anupam Sinha and his team is truly an example for the coming generations.
