Nagraj has numerous enemies, but he also has friends. In his quest to save humanity, he has made countless enemies, but he has also earned several friends. One such friend and ally is Bharati, the daughter of Guru Vedacharya and the granddaughter of his son Shiladitya. Vedacharya bestowed upon Bharati the knowledge of tantra and tilism, similar to what he taught Nagraj. Bharati has assisted Nagraj multiple times, often in an invisible form known as Facesless. This form, created by the mystical clothing made through various tantra mantras, allows Bharati to remain hidden and aid Nagraj in secret.
Bharati is the individual who gave Nagraj his human appearance and played a crucial role in transforming Mahanagar into his home. Bharati also has a brother named Agraj, or Agradoot, who was first introduced in the Nagdweep Comics. In this comic, Agradoot comes to Nagraj’s aid to save him from a deadly attack in Kentucky. However, upon Guru Vedacharya’s request, Agradoot returns, and in the Agradoot Comics, we learn more about Bharati and her family. It is revealed that Bharati’s father is still alive, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

The story of Bharati’s brother Agradoot and his son Agraj is showcased in the Agraj Comics, revealing how they became entangled in a treacherous plot due to their association with tantra. Despite Vedacharya’s disapproval, Agradoot weds Bharati to Shiladitya to utilize his tilismi powers. Vedacharya initially rejects this marriage as he knows that Agradoot, the master of tantra, intends to use Shiladitya’s tilismi abilities for his own gain. Vedacharya later discovers that Shiladitya is only a medium, and Agradoot’s real target is his grandson Agraj. Despite Bharati’s silent love for Nagraj, when Visarpini learns of it in the Fan Comics, she sacrifices her desire for Nagraj for the sake of her sister.
Bharati’s love for Nagraj is acknowledged by him, but due to Nagraj’s love for Visarpini, when she discovers it in the Fan Comics, she, despite her reluctance, gives up the idea of marrying Nagraj.
