In the year 2000, a Hollywood film arrived featuring a renowned dialogue that said, ‘A hero is incomplete without a villain.’ It was a small but intriguing statement that captured everyone’s attention. The effectiveness of a villain can be measured through two aspects: one, their popularity among comic book fans, and two, the significance of their existence in relation to the hero, standing against them. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that a hero is only as good as their villain. In the realm of Kalpahelia-Raj comics, there is one of the most charismatic villains. He doesn’t wear a mask, nor does he have a hideout, yet he isn’t far from his operative city of Mumbai. He lacks superpowers apart from a razor-sharp brain and athletic abilities akin to a gymnast. Despite fearing Doga, he often openly challenges him. He calls Doga ‘Dogey,’ knowing well that Doga won’t spare him, yet he continues to taunt him.
Kalpahelia belongs to a nomadic tribe referred to as the Pardi tribe. He worships his deity, Gogadev, and for the sake of sacrifices to him, he initially confronts Doga in the comic ‘Kalpahelia’ where he attempts to sacrifice Doga himself. He is known as Robinhood within his tribe, as their primary occupation involves engaging in criminal activities
